1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Ne0x Labs LLC governing your access to and use of the REBUTL platform, including our website at rebutl.io, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services.

BY ACCESSING OR USING REBUTL, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

1.2 Eligibility

To use REBUTL, you must:

If you are using REBUTL on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What REBUTL Does

REBUTL is an AI-powered Oxford-style debate platform. Users submit debate topics, and our artificial intelligence systems generate structured debates featuring:

IMPORTANT: ALL DEBATE CONTENT ON REBUTL IS GENERATED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

You acknowledge and agree that:

No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated content may contain factual errors, inaccuracies, outdated information, or statements that are incomplete or misleading.
Not professional advice: Debates are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute legal, medical, financial, tax, or any other form of professional advice.
No endorsement: The arguments, positions, and conclusions in AI-generated debates do not represent the views, opinions, or endorsements of REBUTL, Ne0x Labs LLC, or any affiliated parties.

Upon termination, your access will be revoked, your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unused credits are non-refundable except as required by law, and previously generated debates may remain accessible if set to public.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

4.1 Content Guidelines

REBUTL uses automated content moderation systems to maintain a safe and respectful environment. You agree NOT to submit debate topics that:

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Compare the inherent worth, value, intelligence, or humanity of racial, ethnic, religious, or gender groups
Dehumanize, demean, or call for harm against any group based on protected characteristics
Deny or celebrate historical atrocities
Advocate for systemic discrimination against any protected group

Violence and Illegal Activity

Promote, glorify, or incite violence against individuals or groups
Provide instructions for illegal activities
Facilitate fraud, theft, or other criminal conduct
Threaten or harass specific individuals

Harmful Content

Promote suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders
Contain explicit sexual content or pornography
Involve the sexualization of minors in any way (zero tolerance)
Constitute defamation or invasion of privacy

4.2 Permitted Content

REBUTL encourages debates on a wide range of topics, including:

International relations and foreign policy

Key distinction: Debates should focus on ideas, policies, and evidence rather than attacking the inherent worth of groups of people.

4.3 Enforcement

Violations of our content policies may result in:

Topic rejection with explanation
Warning notifications
Temporary submission suspension
Account review and potential permanent suspension
Immediate permanent ban for severe violations

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice for severe violations, and report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

5. Credits and Payments

5.1 Credit System

REBUTL operates on a credit-based system. You purchase credits, which are then used to generate debates.

5.2 Pricing and Purchases

Current pricing is displayed on our website. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may change; existing credits are not affected. Purchases are processed through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.

5.3 Refund Policy

Technical failure prevents debate completion: Automatic refund
Debate content unsatisfactory: No refund
Change of mind: No refund
Account termination (unused credits): No refund, except as required by law
Billing error: Refund available

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 REBUTL's Intellectual Property

REBUTL and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the REBUTL name, logo, branding, software, design, user interface, AI models, algorithms, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

6.2 User-Submitted Content

When you submit a debate topic, you retain ownership of the topic text you wrote, grant REBUTL a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your submitted topics for purposes of providing and improving the Service, and represent that you have the right to grant this license.

6.3 AI-Generated Debate Content

AI-generated debate content (arguments, analysis, verdicts) is:

Owned by REBUTL
Licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use
Shareable with attribution to REBUTL
Not to be represented as your own original work

7. Privacy and Data

7.1 Privacy Policy

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content, uninterrupted or error-free operation, security of data transmission, and results from use of the Service.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REBUTL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Actions or omissions of third parties
Events beyond our reasonable control
Content submitted by users
Decisions or actions based on AI-generated content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

The amount you paid to REBUTL in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR
One hundred US dollars ($100)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless REBUTL, Ne0x Labs LLC, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
Your violation of any third-party rights
Content you submit to the Service
Any dispute between you and another user

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

10.2 Binding Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and REBUTL agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement, and either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and conducted in English. For US residents, arbitration will occur in Austin, Texas, or via telephone/video conference. For non-US residents, arbitration will occur via telephone/video conference unless otherwise agreed.

10.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND REBUTL AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

10.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. The notice must include your name, address, email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.

10.5 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.6 Jurisdiction

For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

11. General Provisions

11.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and REBUTL regarding the Service.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

11.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

11.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

11.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or internet/telecommunications failures.
